About Us
We’re two sisters who have worked in hospitality since leaving school, always sharing the same dream of one day opening a café of our own. After falling in love with life in Northumberland, where we’ve called home since 2018, that dream became a reality in 2025. We wanted to create a space that feels cosy, welcoming and relaxed, right in the heart of the countryside we love.
Now based in Heatherslaw on the gorgeous Ford & Etal Estate, we’re so proud to be part of such a special place. Everything on our menu is homemade with care, using quality local ingredients wherever possible, and we take real pride in every coffee poured, every bake served and every plate that leaves our kitchen.

Served on our signature homemade sourdough focaccia, our chunky house sandwiches are at the heart of what we do.

Our homemade sweet treats are baked with just as much care and character.
From classic, comforting cakes to creative seasonal bakes, everything is made in-house with a real love of flavour. From gooey caramel brownies and Bakewell blondies to our highly-complimented carrot & sultana cake and a tempting selection of innovative cheesecakes, our sweet treats are designed to feel indulgent, nostalgic, and utterly irresistible.
